Vista, the largest division of Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd, offers a range of products mainly in the therapeutic areas of gastrointestinal, pain management and anti-infective, catering to common ailments. This division is a primary contributor to the domestic sales of Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

The division caters to over 100,000 doctors comprising of general practitioners, consultant physicians, surgeons, gastroenterologists, orthopedics, etc. through its competent field force.

The Vista division boasts of brands like Alprax (Alprazolam), Domstal O/RD (Combination of Domperidone and Omeprazole), Veloz (Rabeprazole), Topcef (Cefixime), Diclogesic (Diclofenac + Paracetamol) and One-up (a multi-vitamin formulation). Alprax, apart from being the highest selling brand of the company is also among the top 100 Brands in the Indian Pharmaceutical industry. Veloz is the No. 1 Rabeprazole brand of the company.

In the current fiscal (2004-05), the division added Veloz M (Rabeprazole + Mosapride) and Torcoxia (Etoricoxib – the latest of the Cox 2 inhibitors) to its product portfolio. Veloz M is a first-time introduction of a rational combination of Rabeprazole and Mosapride in India.

Vista has been the trendsetter in the Pharmaceutical Industry in terms of introducing combinations like Domstal O and Domstal RD (Fixed Dose Combination of Domperidone and Omeprazole). Currently, it is holding a share of about 48% in the respective market.
