New Facility ::

Greenfield Insulin and Parenteral facility :

A Greenfield Insulin and Parenteral facility project is coming up at Indrad Plant. The project comprises of establishing and commissioning the new parenteral facility and shall cater to following product range.

• Insulin (for exclusive supply to Novo Nordisk India Pvt Ltd (NNIPL)
• Lyophilized Products (Vials)
• Liquid Ampoules/vials

The facility will be designed according to cGMP and EU GMP standards and with logical and unidirectional flow for man and material movement in the entire manufacturing area. Provision for new process utility viz WFI and Clean Steam Generator, capacity 3 m3/hr. and 800 kg/hr resp. has been made. The civil structure will be constructed using prefabricated modular partitions.

Capacities ::

*This will cater to market requirements for over a period of 5-6 years. Provision is made for additional line with similar capacity which can be added in the 5th year. The capacity shall stand enhanced to 300 lac vials pa on addition of the second line.
