Pre-Clinical Safety Evaluation ::

PCSE has ultra modern state of the art laboratories with up-to-date animal houses and sophisticated equipments. It is capable of dealing acute, subacute toxicity studies in rodents and also genotoxicity studies such as AMEs and mouse micronucleus. The studies are in compliance with GLP and are monitored by the Centre's own Quality Assurance Unit.

In Laboratory Animal Facility, there are a number of functional subdivisions which are linked together by operational considerations

Facilities are divided into three categories:
